We all awoke to the surprising news that WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange has been arrested in the UK. With pressure on the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, Assange was handed over to the British police. As you can see, Mr. Assange is not going willingly. As he was physically drug out to the waiting police van, he was shouting, “Resist!”
What is going to happen next? Reports are that Mr. Assange will be brought to the US to face charges for conspiracy to commit computer intrusion in aiding Chelsea Manning in the cracking of a password to a classified U.S. government computer in 2010.
WikiLeaks and Julian Assange have long been a thorn in the side of those in our government. We all understand the reason for keeping certain facts out of the public eyes, but sometimes the actions of those in government are not the most honest and aboveboard. We’ve all seen that since the Mueller Investigation exposed the corruption in our FBI, CIA, and even a presidential administration.
Should Mr. Assange face justice for his alleged crimes? Could his testimony open a can of worms those in our government wish would never see the light of day? We all remember the controversy over the release of the DNC emails during the 2016 Presidential election, and the cries from the Democrats of Assange getting them from a Russian hack of their computer.
However, Mr. Assange has disputed that claim. He has clearly stated that Russia was not the source for the DNC email release. Was it the Russians, or an insider at the DNC? Some have believed it was Seth Rich, who was found murdered from a robbery attempt.
Of course, Twitter is blowing up over the Assange arrest.
As you can see, things are heating up. Is this the dam break freedom-loving Patriots have been waiting for? Will Mr. Assange finally expose the Democrat leadership as the liars we’ve all known for quite some time?
