Trystan Andrew Terrell, 22, was charged early Wednesday of two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm on educational property and discharging a firearm on educational property, WBTV’s Christine Sperow reported.

Police Chief Jeff Baker told reporters late Tuesday that the suspect was disarmed and taken into custody within minutes.

During the attack, two people were killed, three remain in critical condition, while another victim suffered from non-life threatening injuries, Baker said. Students were among the victims, but officials would not say how many.

The university campus located northeast of the city center and surrounded by residential areas has more than 26,500 students and 3,000 faculty and staff.

We send our prayers and thoughts to the families who have lost loved ones and to the injured.

Don't be censored

It is the only way we can work around their censorship and ensure people receive news about issues that Democrats and the mainstream media suppress.
