Now that only Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden remain to battle for the Democrat Presidential nomination, we will be taking a closer look at each candidate and find what they actually want for this great nation. Not the hype and half-truths they say on the campaign trail.

We will start with Sen. Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders has never hidden the fact that he holds Socialism as a preferred form of government. However, his version isn’t true.

Let’s dig into Cuba’s past a bit.

Cuba’s capital, Havana, was a glittering and dynamic city. In the early 1900s, the country’s economy was fueled by the sale of sugar to the United States had grown dynamically. Cuba ranked 5th in this hemisphere in per capita income, 3rd in life expectancy, second in per capita ownership of automobiles and telephones, 1st in the number of television sets per inhabitant.

Cuba was once one of the most advanced and successful countries in Latin America

We all remember a few days ago when Sanders said that Fidel Castro of Cuba, did a good thing when he took control by initiating a literacy program for the people.

Sanders said, “how is teaching the people to read a bad thing?”

Well, it’s not, but at what price did that come?

Also, Sanders isn’t being honest about the number of Cubans who couldn’t read.

The literacy rate in Cuba at the time was 76%. That made it the 4th highest in Latin America. Sanders would lead you to believe that practically no one could read in Cuba. As you can see, that’s just not the case.

Another thing Sanders wants is government single-payer, Healthcare for All, or Medicare for All as he calls it.

At the time Castro took control, Cuba was ranked 11th in the world in the number of doctors per capita. Many private clinics and hospitals also provided services for the poor.

However, it appears medical care didn’t stay that way after Castro took control.

Cuba’s medical care for all under Castro.

It sounds like things were just fine before Castro forced government single-payer medical coverage which is what Sanders wants here.

Cuba’s income distribution compared favorably with that of other Latin American societies, and a thriving middle class held the promise of prosperity and social mobility.

While it’s true there was great wealth in Cuba at the time, there was also poverty. Many of the people worked in the numerous resorts, catering to those vacationing there. Of course, whenever there are have’s and have not’s, that always leaves an opening for someone with an agenda to convince the poor that it’s not fair they don’t have the same wealth as others. The people are told the solution is for the government to spread the wealth around.

However, whenever you have a government that promises you everything, it will also have strict restrictions on personal rights. One thing that must happen for complete control of the people is Gun Control. The Democrats today claim the need for Gun Control is to get guns out of the hands of criminals. However, the only people their plan seems to target is the average American LEGAL gun owner.

The Cuban revolutionaries take control of the country and its people.

Castro’s regime began collecting guns and disarming the population nearly immediately. Within days of Castro’s promises of civility, a wave of executions of those he deemed a threat was underway.

While most Americans would say that would never happen here. How many Cubans believed the same? Never say never.

Fidel Castro

“It’s up to the government to protect the people from themselves.” Sound familiar? Isn’t this what Sanders is promising.

However, Sanders isn’t being honest with younger Americans.

Over the decades, Progressive Far-Leftists like Sanders worked overtime to convince our youth that they deserve everything for free.

Free healthcare, free college, government-controlled low-cost housing, just to name a few are the carrots that Sanders is dangling out to convince he is for the have-nots.

Sanders is promising a fantasy world of rainbows and unicorns, where everyone is equal: no rich, no poor.

But what is the complete truth Sanders isn’t telling those supporting him? This video clearly shows his vision of the perfect country in his own words.

Another fact that Sanders is leaving out is that those in a communist government not only enjoy the benefits of power but also of great wealth.

Cuba after years of communism.

While the Cuban people were starving and living in squalor, Castro compiled a net worth of $900 million. How is that fair to the masses?

The same is true about Bernie Sanders. Depending on the source, Sanders’ wealth is well above that of the average American. While he talks about income equality, he omits the fact that he is currently worth anywhere between $2 to $3 million or more, making him one of the 1% rich he is always ranting about. He owns three homes and has been seen driving a $170K sports car.

For one that preaches the virtues of spreading the wealth around, Sanders sure doesn’t live by his own words.

Every time, Socialism or Communism has been forced hard-working people with the promise of a better life, the same thing happens. Those at the top live a life of comfort, while those at the bottom struggle to survive.

If Socialism/Communism is so great, why do people risk their lives to escape? The Berlin Wall wasn’t built to keep people out. No, it was built to keep the people from escaping.

There you have it, my fellow Patriots. It’s time to pull the curtain aside and expose Bernie Sanders for what he truly is: a dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore COMMUNIST.
