Real America’s Voice, Just the News reports the defense attorneys for Steve Bannon want the documents surrounding his Jan. 6 case released. The media agrees, arguing that the government’s proposed order to block the release of the documents violates the First Amendment. I agree.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
The DOJ wants to stop Steve Bannon from sharing 1,000 files in his contempt of Congress case as defense, citing releasing the evidence will create a trial by media. Perhaps they are just worried about the American people forming an opinion, and they wouldn’t want that, now would they?
I think all the Jan. 6 documents the DOJ has should be released to the public to view. We have a right to know why the government is holding American citizens as if they were prisoners of war and treating them quite severely.
If the DOJ doesn’t have anything to hide, why are they so worried about releasing documents that could answer many questions.
Further, I think Mr. Bannon has the right to use whatever legal means available to defend himself.
We must keep an eye on this case because if the government gets away with bullying Steve Bannon, then the rest of us would not have a chance against the DOJ were we brought before them.
Do you think Steve Bannon’s attorneys should be allowed to release the documents? Please, tell me what you think in the comments.
Social media censorship is suppressing the truth about the dangers of globalism and brutal cultures infiltrating the west. Please share this article wherever you can. It is the only way we can work around their censorship and ensure people receive news about issues that Democrats and the mainstream media suppress.
