A high school football coach fired for praying on the field after games will get his case heard before the Supreme Court. Unfortunately, it has taken fifteen years for SCOTUS to accept the case.
According to Breitbart, it will require the justices to look at three parts of the First Amendment and how they pertain to public employees, including the right to worship and free speech.
The potential loss of freedom we could experience is concerning should SCOTUS get it wrong in their decision. We need to pray that God will stir the Supreme Court to do the right thing in this case.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Today, there are dangerous things taught to our children in our public schools that need to be addressed rather than concerned over a football coach praying.
