The Supreme Court made a decision in the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen hearing. And it was a significant win for the Second Amendment and gun owners. Thank you, SCOTUS, for protecting America’s gun rights.
In a 6-3 decision that represented a massive win for the Second Amendment, the court decided that the New York state law for carrying firearms violates the 14th Amendment, and individuals have the right to carry firearms outside the home.
According to the Supreme Court’s website, the question presented in the case is: “Whether the Second Amendment allows the government to prohibit ordinary law-abiding citizens from carrying handguns outside the home for self-defense.”
The Supreme court answered the question loud and clear.
‘The time has come for this Court to resolve this critical constitutional impasse and
reaffirm the citizens’ fundamental right to carry a handgun for self-defense.”
The decision is a victory for all gun owners, and we can celebrate. However, the war against the Second Amendment is not over. We still have many battles ahead. We can win, but we must never waver or give up on any of our rights. Stay strong, Patriots!
