A federal judge ruled that public prayer is unconstitutional, and now The American Humanist Association, an atheist group, demands the Supreme Court not take the case. According to Jay Sekulow, ACLJ, the angry atheist group wants to stop the case from going to court because they know that this case would ‘upend’ every single attack on religious freedom. Their goal is to eradicate faith from public space.
Mr. Sekulow believes this case could dramatically reshape the legal landscape because the lower courts have failed for years. A constitutional religious battle has raged for 35 years. The case coming before the Supreme Court could be a game changer.
Mr. Sekulow is correct in that the anti-Christian radicals have no right to bring these suits in the first place. Nevertheless, the ACLJ is preparing for the critical case and only has days to finish its brief final filing.
First, the leftists succeeded in taking prayer out of schools. Look at how removing prayer has worked for our children and schools. Now, the liberals have added CRT and Gender training classes for our kids. It has not gone well. The atheists succeeded in removing prayer from schools, and now they have public prayer in their sights. Understand if they succeed, we Christians will no longer be allowed to pray in any public setting. It would not be good.
To my non-Christian friends, this case is about more than prayer in a public place; it is about the constitution and what rights Americans have under it. We cannot afford to lose one single constitutional right so this fight is for you as well. To my friends who are involved with other religions, will all prayers be revoked or just Christians?
Will other religions be forced to stop praying in public as well? Our constitution gives us the freedom of religion, including the right to pray in schools and in public. This fight is a fight for all of us to join. Please send good vibes and say a prayer for ACLJ as they prepare for the Supreme Court Case and say a prayer for the American people.
