Abortion Statistics

0

According to the U.S. CDC, abortions, have been on a steady decline. As of 2015, abortions are at its lowest rate since 1975. However, as Focus on the Family points out, the problem with these statistics is that not all states are reporting a true record of legal abortions. The sizable drop from 1997-1998 (1,186, 039 – 884,273) reflects the absence of reporting from some states, including California.

This lack of accurate data stops the CDC from reporting true numbers of abortions performed in the USA.

According to the CDC report:

Chemical abortions – More than 25%

Surgical abortions – 75%

Women who had abortions with no previous children – 41%

Women who had abortions who have had at least one previous abortion – 44%

Single Women – 86%

Women 24 years of age and younger – 41%

At these levels, approximately one-quarter of women will have an abortion by the age of 45.

Approximately 15,000 abortions are reported to be as a result of rape or incest, representing 1.5 of all abortions.

At first, I was surprised that not all states gave a accurate record or one at all, then I remembered, we are in a war for the unborn. As we all know, not all sides adhere to the rules of war.

Unfortunately, the numbers in this research are high, so if we added the total count absent from the states that did not accurately report or report at all, imagine how high the numbers would be.

These statistics tell me this is a business and one that is making untold amounts of money. It is not about women’s healthcare.

I leave you with this video from Focus on the Family that shows us what we are fighting for.

We need your help to be a voice for the unborn.

Why the Wall is Necessary

0

I am not one that wants to keep other people out of our country. In fact, I welcome them with open arms if they do it the right way. Follow the law, and then take the necessary steps to obtain citizenship. Requesting citizenship is not a new thing.  The United States Naturalization Law was established on September 17, 1787. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 of the Constitution gives the United States Congress the power to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization. Following this establishment of law, in 1790 Congress passed the first Naturalization Law, the Naturalization Act of 1790.

Laws were established to keep the American Citizens safe by VETTING those who want to come here. Those laws are to ensure those coming here are upstanding people who have common interests with those of the United States. But, we have blatantly ignored these laws, bypassed them, and opened our arms too wide for everyone.

America holds the title, The Great American Melting Pot, and because of it, many of our ancestors came to this great country to start a new life. I am proud of America for having such love and open arms for immigrants to come here and start a new life, but again, I say to you, look what’s happened to us now that we’ve thrown aside our Naturalization Laws. By allowing people to enter our country illegally, it has put American citizens in danger.

Other countries have established walls in the past to keep invaders away. I believe building a wall along our southern border is critical to keep America safe from those flooding over our porous border today. I support the wall and am eager to see it finished. Once complete, we can then allow only those into our country that request entry through our vetting and a merit-based system.

President Trump will see this wall built, and I am proud he is standing by his word and is fighting to see it through. He is smart. He loves this country and vows to keep Americans safe.

Victims of Trafficking

Human traffickers choose victims for a variety of reasons. Some of these reasons are emotional vulnerability, financial hardships, insecurities, opportunity of finding someone alone, etc. There is no specific type of person that is more susceptible than another to be a victim. Traffickers will often take their victims to unfamiliar locations so that the victims is dependent upon their captor. Most victims won’t come forward because of fear, inability to communicate due to language barriers, or even fear of law enforcement. Often traffickers will belittle and degrade their victims, making them think it’s their fault so shame prevents them from reaching out for help.

The International Labor Organization estimates that there are 40.3 million victims of human trafficking globally with more than 49,000 total cases of human trafficking reported to the Hotline in the past 10 years.

  • 81% of them are trapped into forced labor
  • 25% of them are children
  • 75% are woman and girls. (Polaris)

Most traffickers control their victims psychologically first. They trick their victims by gaining their trust with promises of gifts, a better life, convince them that they love them    and show them affection. If this begins to fail, most traffickers turn to violence to maintain control.

U.S. Census: American Citizen Birth Rate Dwindling

Conception has two meanings.

1. Creating children through procreation.

2. Devise a plan of action for a particular outcome.

Everything that exists in our world was conceived whether by childbirth or an idea pulled from someone’s mind.

One can argue Earth came about through some great cosmic explosion or that an Almighty God created the earth and all creatures living on Earth.  Perhaps God used the cosmic explosion to create the earth.  I believe a Higher Power, God, created our Earth and us. My article will reflect this belief.

God devised a plan to create a world where humans could live and thrive.

In this plan, he gave us the command, to “replenish the Earth.” In other words, Men and Women were supposed to procreate. It is his desire for us to multiply the earth with our children.

If from the beginning of time; it was an almighty creator’s desire for us to procreate then why would we think it is okay to destroy our children now? I don’t think he ever gave us permission to do so.

Creation is such a beautiful thing. I fell in love with my child at first sight, and I cannot imagine ever harming her. She is a mini replica of me both in looks and in actions.

I was thirty-nine when my daughter was born. I could have listened to the doctor’s warning that at my age, having a Down’s syndrome baby was possible. Out of fear, I could have chosen to abort. However, I chose to ignore their warnings, and I chose life.

Thirteen years have passed, and I have a healthy, happy, active daughter.

I am sure parents with Special Needs Children feel the same way I do about my daughter.

Every life matters.

In closing, I would like to give you something to ponder.

According to the census, the American population is at its lowest rate in eighty years

NOTE:  (Their statistics do not include ABORTIONS)

Children born in America are LOWER than the arrival of IMMIGRANTS into our country. Our country growth is largely attributed to immigration, according to Brookings. I don’t know about you, but this hurts my heart as it tells me, that as Americans don’t have children in numbers to replenish our numbers, our country will not remain it’s own.

If abortions in America continue, how long would it take for our American culture to fade out of existence? Our statistics are quite low as it is so it would not take long.

What is the answer? We as Americans need to have babies, and we need to STOP ABORTIONS. If we won the battle against unfettered abortions, could we save our America? I don’t know, but don’t you think our country, and our children are worth the fight? I do!
