Ohio is one of the many states that have signed a ‘Heartbeat ban’ stating that as soon as the unborn child has a detectable heartbeat, it may not be aborted. Many people feel this ban is an affront to women everywhere, denying them the right to choose what to do with their bodies. This is especially since a heartbeat can be detected as early as six weeks and many women don’t even realize they are pregnant that early on.

Life is defined as the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death. Murder is defined as killing another human being with malice aforethought or the intention to kill or harm.

While many states have introduced a Heartbeat Bill, there aren’t any as of yet to have passed into law. This ban has come under a lot of legal pressure from many directions. The primary claim is that preventing a woman from obtaining an abortion is a violation of their privacy, afforded them under the 14th Amendment. It states the right to privacy under the Due Process Clause and this clause extended to a woman’s decision to have an abortion.

We, as a society, consider single-cell organisms “life” when speaking scientifically. This is how we determine if there is “life” on other planets. Yet, on our own planet, it isn’t considered “life” until the child exits the womb. This is a gross contradiction. A woman should have the right to do whatever she chooses to her own body. However, once pregnant, it is no longer her body but that of herself and the unborn child. This is now two bodies. The decision to terminate a “life” under any other circumstances is deemed as murder because there is clear intent.

Why is this the only exception? Why is terminating a “life” in the womb considered okay but doing so under any other circumstance murder?

In this writer’s opinion, it’s sad when in our society the life of an unborn child no longer has any value.

Don't be censored

Social media censorship is suppressing the truth about the dangers of globalism and brutal cultures infiltrating the west. Please share this article wherever you can. It is the only way we can work around their censorship and ensure people receive news about issues that Democrats and the mainstream media suppress.
