The Department of Defense has identified all 13 U.S. service members who were killed in a suicide bomb attack Thursday, August 26, 2021, outside the Kabul airport, near the Abbey Gate. These brave heroes gave their lives to help American citizens and allies evacuate Afghanistan in the face of certain death at the hands of Taliban and ISIS terrorists.
We want to honor our Marines, Navy, and Army soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom. We pray God comforts their families in a way that only he can.
We will never forget your sacrifice. May you all rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
